Returns Policy

We are Gun Cabinets Online. Gun Cabinets Online is a trading name of Alexander James Media Limited, registered in England 09041570. This returns policy last 14 days from the date of receipt of goods. If 14 days have gone by since you received your order, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange, unless the goods are found to be faulty. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Some types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as feeds cannot be returned.

Additional non-returnable items:
* Gift cards
* Downloadable software products
* Goods that have been customised
* Gun Cabinets that have been opened and programmed (such as biometric and other electronic access systems)
* Gun Cabinets that have been opened and already installed into place by either ourselves or you

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send any item back to us until we have issued a returns number. Our products are stored at a number of fulfilment centres. Sending an item back before raising a return risks your returned items arriving at the incorrect fulfilment centre and will always cause delays in processing.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Return payments are typically processed the same working day they are approved and will be sent back to your original payment method. We cannot be responsible for delays in the funds showing in your account. Banks operate different processing timescales, however we would expect any refund to show within 3-5 working days. If we reject your return for reasons including, but not limited to, an item stated to have been faulty, has now, following inspection, been found not to be faulty, you will be responsible for covering the cost of returning the items back to you.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is shown on your statement. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please email

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at and request an exchange.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Returning goods to us
To return your product, you should first email to request a return. Our team will respond with the appropriate returns address for your item. You will be responsible for paying for the cost of returning your item. Delivery costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original delivery will be deducted from your refund where you chose a delivery service was anything other than our standard free delivery service. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. You should consider using a trackable delivery service or purchasing delivery insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item and we cannot be held responsible for damage or loss during transit.
