The HuntGuard Highlander 18 Gun Cabinet combines serious firearm capacity with the additional depth needed for larger scopes and optics. Designed to safely store up to 18 shotguns or approximately 12–14 scoped rifles, its deeper 460mm cabinet design provides more room than many 18 gun cabinets in its class, making it an excellent choice for larger collections of scoped rifles. It features the second-generation SecureGuard digital keypad and luxury tri-spoke handle for smooth, reliable access. Constructed from heavy-gauge steel with a reinforced 3mm door, cross-bolt locking system and anti-pry design, this cabinet exceeds BS 7558 standards for full UK Police approval. Inside, a soft full carpet lining and precision-moulded gun racks help protect your firearms from scratches and knocks. The lockable internal ammunition compartment provides secure storage for Section 1 ammunition, while the removable shelf can be taken out for full-height firearm storage up to approximately 1490mm (58.6″).

Offering storage for up to 18 shotguns or approximately 12–14 scoped rifles, its deeper 460mm cabinet design provides noticeably more room than many 18 gun cabinets in its class, making it particularly well suited to scoped rifles and mixed firearm collections. The removable internal shelf provides useful storage for shooting accessories or can be removed to accommodate full-height firearms up to approximately 1490mm long, while the lockable internal ammunition compartment provides dedicated secure storage for Section 1 ammunition.
Manufactured from a robust 2mm steel body with a reinforced 3mm steel door, the HuntGuard Highlander 18 Gun Cabinet exceeds the security requirements of BS 7558:1992 for UK Police approval. The second-generation SecureGuard digital keypad provides quick and convenient electronic access, while the heavy-duty tri-spoke handle operates a multi-point cross-bolt locking system alongside a reinforced anti-pry door design for enhanced protection against unauthorised access and forced attack. Inside, precision-moulded gun racks and a soft fully carpet-lined interior help protect firearms from scratches, knocks and bangs during storage. Every HuntGuard Highlander 18 Gun Cabinet is backed by a one-year warranty and our Police Approved Guarantee.
This cabinet forms part of the HuntGuard Highlander electronic gun cabinet range and is also available in the smaller Highlander 10 Gun and Highlander 14 Gun models, together with the larger Highlander 24 Gun model.

Yes. Scoped-rifle storage is one of the Highlander 18’s biggest strengths. At 460mm deep, it provides more room for scopes and optics than many comparable 18 gun cabinets, making it particularly well suited to larger collections of scoped rifles.
With the removable shelf taken out, the Highlander 18 can accommodate full-height firearms up to approximately 1490mm (58.6″) long. This gives you the flexibility to remove the shelf when storing longer shotguns or rifles while retaining it when additional accessory storage is more useful.
The second-generation SecureGuard digital keypad has its battery compartment conveniently located on the outside of the cabinet. Simply twist and release the keypad to access and replace the batteries. Emergency override keys are also supplied for complete peace of mind, providing an alternative means of access if required.
Yes. We offer a national gun cabinet installation service from £195 including VAT. Simply select “I would like fitting” at checkout and we’ll arrange for one of our approved installers to securely install your new gun cabinet on a convenient day and time. It’s an easy way to have your cabinet professionally fitted and ready for your firearms inspection.
Yes. Due to the size and depth of the Highlander 18, we recommend fitting two 30cm LED Gun Cabinet Light Kits to provide good illumination throughout the interior. The lights provide automatic interior lighting when accessing your firearms, are easy to install and are available in black or silver.
